Single shaft shredder is a common waste treatment equipment, usually composed of the following main components:
Main frame and housing
The main frame is the supporting structure of the entire equipment, supporting the various components of the shredder. The housing covers the outside of the main frame, protecting the internal mechanical components and reducing noise and vibration.
Rotary blades and fixed blades
The shredder contains a set of rotating blades and fixed blades. The rotating blades are usually fixed to the main shaft and driven by a motor to rotate at high speed. The fixed blades are fixed in the housing, corresponding to the rotating blades, forming a tearing and cutting effect.
Feed port and discharge port
The feed port is where the material enters the shredder, through which the material to be processed is fed into the machine. The discharge port is where the shredded material leaves the machine.
Motor and transmission system
The motor is the power source of the shredder, and transmits power to the rotating blades through the transmission system. The transmission system usually consists of a belt, chain or gear drive, which makes the rotating blade run at high speed.
Single-shaft shredder working principle
The waste is transported into the shredder through the feed port, and the movement between the rotating blade and the fixed blade tears and cuts the waste into smaller particles. The cut material is discharged through the discharge port for subsequent processing or reuse.
