What should we pay attention to when operating a shredder?

1. Check the connecting bolts frequently and the square head bolts that fix the toothed tooth plate to prevent loosening.

2. Lubricate each bearing, large and small gears and special-shaped gears 1-2 times per shift to ensure sufficient lubricating oil inside the bearing and reduce excessive wear of the bearing and gears.

3. The feed particle size should not exceed the specified size, and the feeding should be continuous and uniform to prevent blocking.

4. Check the temperature of the spare bearing frequently, and the temperature rise of the bearing should not exceed 25-30C above room temperature.

5. The bearing slideway of the moving roller should be cleaned frequently to remove dust and debris to prevent the material from entering the moving roller and causing an accident.

6. In case of a sudden power outage, disconnect the power supply of the motor first to prevent accidents caused by sudden power supply. Then take out the unshredded material in the shredder to prevent the safety pin from being cut off due to excessive load when the shredder is started.

7. Pay attention to the working condition of the safety pin. If the safety pin is cut off, cut off the power supply immediately to prevent the large pulley from idling on the sleeve for too long, causing excessive wear of the matching surface and even shaft seizure and other accidents.

8. Operators must strictly follow the safety technical operating procedures and should not operate at will to prevent personal and equipment accidents.
