Establishing safe operating procedures is essential to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the single-shaft shredder. The following are the safe operating procedures for this machine:

1. Installation and preparation

The machine must be reliably grounded and placed stably to ensure sufficient operating space.

After installation, carefully remove the anti-rust oil on the parts, especially in the crushing chamber.

Connect the machine power cord to the main power supply and check the stop switch to confirm that it can be reset.

2. Pre-operation inspection

Check whether each connection is tightly connected.

Check the hydraulic system, the oil level should not be lower than the center line of the oil mark, and there should be no oil leakage at the joints of each part.

Check whether the bearings are well lubricated and whether there is any debris in the knife box.

Check whether there is sufficient lubricating oil in the oil filling pump, and check it at least once a week.

3. Startup and test run

Test start the machine. Press the start button to start the machine. Check whether the running direction of the main motor and the hydraulic station motor is consistent with the direction of the arrow on the cover. If the direction is wrong, change the connection of the power cord.

Check whether the cylinder movement is accurate and smooth, and whether there is leakage in the hydraulic system.

Check whether the limit switch of the push box is reliable.

After the machine starts idling, observe whether the machine is installed stably, and listen carefully for any abnormal sound coming from the machine.

4. Operation specifications

Under normal circumstances, turn the selection button to automatic gear, and use the ON and OFF buttons to control the start and stop.

When the machine needs to be repaired and maintained, turn the selection button to manual gear, and press the corresponding button to control the forward and reverse rotation of the main machine and the forward and backward movement of the push box.

The operator should stand in front of the electrical control cabinet and should not leave his post when crushing thick or difficult-to-crush materials.

Note that the motor, bearing seat, reducer and housing surface may be hot, avoid physical contact or prolonged contact to avoid burns.

5. Operation monitoring

Frequently observe the feeding of the material at the discharge port. If the main machine is stuck or the forward and reverse rotation is too frequent, the feeding should be stopped immediately.

Regularly check the use of the knife to keep the blade sharp.

6. Safety precautions

It is strictly forbidden to feed metal materials or materials containing metal parts into the feeding port.

The feeding of the machine should be equipped with a conveyor belt. If manual direct feeding is required, necessary safety protection measures must be provided.
